Muscat: According to the latest data from the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI), the revenue of 3–5-star hotels in the Sultanate of Oman went up by 68% from the same time in 2022, when it was OMR29.429 million, to OMR49.427 million by the end of February 2023.

By the end of February 2023, there were 357,810 guests in 3- to 5-star hotels, which was a 37.4% rise from the same time in 2022, when there were 260,450 guests.
The occupancy rate also went up by 37.2%, from 44.82% in 2022 to 61.52% in 2023.
At the end of February 2022, there were 2,069 guests from Oceania. By the end of February 2023, there were 8,706 guests from Oceania. This is a big increase of 320.8%. After that, the number of Asian guests went up by 70.4%, from 24,458 at the end of February 2022 to 41,674 at the end of February 2023.
At the end of February 2023, there were 22,365 GCC guests, which is 62% more than at the same time in 2022. At the end of February 2022, there were 9,122 other Arab guests. By the end of February 2023, there were 14,084 other Arab guests.
