The new big projects in Oman will be in Dhofar, Musandam, and South Al Batinah.
The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning in Oman said that three huge projects will be built in the governorates of Dhofar, Musandam, and South Al Batinah.
The plans for the new megaprojects were picked from the many plans for a development project that could be put into action in one of the governorates.
On Sunday in Muscat, officials from the ministry and states talked about the megaprojects.

- Rathath Boulevard (Drizzle) is in Dhofar.
- Length of the project: 4 years
- The price of the project is R$40 million.
- It is in the city of Salalah.
- The size of the project is 470 000 m2.
What will be in it: The project will include a man-made waterway, a water feature, restaurants that serve both local and foreign food, an educational garden with many different kinds of plants, suspended pathways, theaters, commercial areas, and a place where different events can be held.
The goal of this project is to create a place where people from all over the country and the world can go to relax and enjoy Omani customs and practices.

South Al Batinah is home to Rimal Park
- Project length: two years
- Value of the project: RO6.9 million
- Location: 3 km from an integrated service stop along the Al Batinah Expressway
- The size of the project is 225,000 square meters.
The project will include a place to stay for a holiday, a theme park, an aerial cableway, food trucks, a shopping center, and a parking lot.

It also wants to increase tourism, make new business opportunities available, and help the governorate’s overall urban and social growth and well-being.
