Muscat: According to the latest data from the National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI), 3–5-star hotels in the Sultanate of Oman made 34.7 percent more money at the end of May 2023 than they did during the same time in 2022. They made OMR 98.426 million, up from OMR 73.058 million.

By the end of May 2023, there were 800,952 guests, which is a 27.3 percent rise from the 629,143 guests who came during the same time in 2022. This means that the revenue went up, too. The occupancy rate went up by 13.6%.
To break down the numbers, there were 274,729 Omani guests, which is an increase of 0.7%. The number of guests from the GCC grew by 17% to reach 54,571, and the number of guests from Europe grew by 47.2% to reach 239,686.

The number of American guests rose by 4.1% to 26,166. Guests from Africa also went up by 39.7 percent, reaching 4,542 people. The number of guests from Asia grew by 46 percent to 110,324, and the number of guests from Oceania grew by 255.2 percent to 19,007.
